I use Flickr all the time (most pictures in this blog are linked to my flickr dump). They have this cool feature to geocode and visualize pictures using Yahoo! Map. But the streetmap data (from Yahoo!) is not very good here (of course you can also use the satellite layer).
So I sent a message to Flickr’s Senior Engineer Aaron Straup Cope, summary below (the original message was more polite):
Aaron,
“Yahoo! streetmap in Flickr not good in the Philipines. OSM waaaay better! Please use OSM data.”
